FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How does the whole custom blog design process work?
1) Make the $15 deposit.
2) Email me with the completed questionnaire (blog title and 'questionnaire' in the subject line).
3) Your name will be placed on my design list and I will contact you as soon as possible to begin your design.
4) I will design a header and wait for your approval.
5) I will design the remainder of your blog elements and give you the link to a sample blog.
6) Final approval and installation.
I'm on the design list. How long will I wait?
This completely depends on the load of work at the time of your inquiry. Please be patient with me and know that I'm working as fast I can to get through the list, but I will take my time to make sure that each person is completely happy with their design and that the quality is top-notch.
How long does it take for you to complete a custom blog design once you begin?
This varies from blog to blog and is based on communication. Please keep in mind that I am a full-time student and that blog designing is only something I do on the side. I will do my best to promptly respond to emails, but please notify me ahead of time if you have any major deadlines. In the same respect, please make sure to do your best to promptly respond to my emails, as well.
Do you design blogs for anything other than Blogger?
At this time I'm not officially offering these services. However, I am doing some "behind the scenes" learning of Wordpress. When it becomes official, I will post, so please follow the blog or even my tweets!
Why do I need a Photobucket account?
I use Photobucket to host the images that will go on your blog. It's trustworthy, navigable, and they don't send you spam. You will need one for me to complete your design. Please remember to log into it at least every 90 days to insure that your account stays active and you don't lose any images.

FORMAT
Header - The header is the first thing that people see on your blog. It's at the very top of the site and can be customized with your blog name, any saying or quote that you like, and pictures. They range in all sizes.
Background - This refers specifically to the area behind your post section and sidebars. Note: the bigger your screen resolution, the more of the background you will see.
Signature - These are placed at the end of every post. People typically use their name, their blog's name, or company name.
Button - This is a 150 pixel X 150 pixel button that your readers can "grab" from your blog to display on theirs. When others see your button on someone else's blog, they can click your button to be directed to your blog.
Category Labels - These are the sections on your sidebars - About Me, Followers, Archives, etc. There are many people who change these sayings around too and make them fun and less generic.
Menu Tabs - These are typically placed near the top of your blog and used to direct people around your blog. I offer three different options, which you can see below.

Menu Tabs - These are typically placed near the top of your blog and used to direct people around your blog. I offer three different options, which you can see below.
Basic Menu Tabs/Navigation Bar - $7
These serve their purpose well! They're an easy way to organize
your blog and not busy. They will appear in Century Gothic
font and can only be placed immediately above or below your header.
Image Navigation Bar - $15
Just like the basic, these can appear immediately above or
below your header only. However, the difference is that they can
be customize a lot more - with anything from a font or a graphic
that matches your design.
Navigation Bar in Header - $20
These allow for much more creativity with your design and are an option
if you want your header and menu tabs to go hand in hand. The menu
tabs are actually designed within your header and load simultaneously.
Drop Down Menu Bar - $25
This menu bar is for the perfectionist (well, nearly)! If you're an
organization freak or you have a lot of options for people to view, this is
your perfect match! This option can only appear above or below the header
and is very limited in its customization to colors for borders and fonts but
serves its purpose very, very well!
